Originally an architect who worked in design in London for Terence Conran and Wolff Olins, Cathy Hayes travelled the world in her 30’s, settling down to live on an island in the Bahamas for 10 years and then returning to Ireland.
She studied art in the Bahamas under the tutelage of Sue Bennett William who ran the college of the Bahamas and had several successful exhibitions more before returning.
Now she sells her work mostly abroad but also has had 3 exhibitions in Ireland.
