Paul Quast was born in Galway in 1989. He is a recent graduate from the Limerick School of Art and Design with a first class honours in Fine Art Painting. He has exhibited extensively in group shows and is currently in the process of creating work for a solo exhibition. He is presently undertaking this practice in Wickham Street Studios, Limerick. He is also an affiliated member and Intern at the Ormston House Gallery where he installs and organizes events on a regular basis. He is currently a member of the Making Space Collective in Athlone as well as a member of the Athlone Arts Group.
Currently, Paul's practice is hinged on the recession, money mechanics, the declining building trade, politics, the population's zeitgeist and the generation of waste which is saturated in post boom cultural identity.
