Rani Sheilagh is an emerging Dublin-based artist and painter.
Her work is inspired by a visual figurative exploration and expression of our somatic and sensual energy. Rani uses a vocabulary of line to create form and of colour and texture to create depth. Her work invokes feeling, energy, spirit and sensation, with each piece acting as a personal expression of the energetic journey into the creative embodiment of being human.
Rani completed a bachelors fine arts degree at Parsons School of Design and a masters degree with an award for artistic excellence at the prestigious NYU, Tisch School of the Arts, ITP Programme, in New York City.
Rani is currently a resident artist at La Catedral Studios in Dublin.
